Calliope Poetry Series will launch its 9th season Sunday, September 13, 2015, at the West Falmouth Library with a reading featuring Mark Doty. In addition to monthly poetry readings, Calliope does a series of winter craft workshops (January, February, March) with senior poet teachers who provide support for community poets looking to enhance their writing skills. Calliope's director Alice Kociemba facilitates a monthly poetry book discussion group at the Falmouth Public Library. Each month a contemporary poet's work is read and discussed.
