Rodger Martin and Ann Shi will read poems from Martin's latest volume, "For All the Tea in Zhngguó." The book has, in two parts, Rodger's poems which have been published in China over the past three decades, and Chinese New Pastoral poets who he has collaborated with and published in the U.S. over the same period. Martin will read poems in English; Shi will read poems in Mandarin.

Rodger Martin's new book of poems in two languages, "For All The Tea in Zhngguó," was released in 2019 by Hobblebush Books. In 2012 he was chosen as the poet to represent the U.S. at Hangzhou, China's international cultural festival. He returned in 2015 to read and lecture on poetry at Nanjing University and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. His poem, "The Anchor," was etched in stone at a reflecting pool at Shanghai University for International Business and Economics.

Ann Shi is a member of the teaching faculty and department chair for World Languages at St. Johns High School in Shrewsbury, MA. She holds Masters Degrees from both the University of Wisconsin and Framingham State College.
Free and open to the public.
