Munroe Saturday Nights, Lexington
Local poets will read poems based on local painters' work, and briefly discuss the process of turning image into poem. Paintings by Emily Passman, Jeanine Sobell Pastore, Deepak Das, Jaroslava O'Neil, Sudakshina Bhattacharya, and Laurel Smith will be displayed during the reading.

An Evening of Poetry with Jason Tandon
Reading and Book Launch for The Actual World. 

Jason Tandon is the author of four books of poetry, including The Actual World, Quality of Life, and Give Over the Heckler and Everyone Gets Hurt, winner of the St. Lawrence Book Award from Black Lawrence Press. His poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, Barrow Street, Beloit Poetry Journal, North American Review, and Esquire, among others. He is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Arts & Sciences Writing Program at Boston University.
